Building Permit Search
How to search for a building permit in Toronto:
Use this link to go to the Citys building permit data base
See the image to the right
Select [ Search Permit Status]
New page will open so you can type in the address or application number
Select [Search]
See the results in the image to the right
The blue dot is the address you searched for.
The pink dots are other building permits in your search area
Drill down and select the appropriate dot
If no permit for the address, nothing will be displayed
If there is a permit for the address, a link to the documents will be displayed
As an alternate method select Show Results drop down to see the permits sorted by street name.
To access the building permit search function.
Type in the address or application number of the address in question. The pink dots are other addresses with building permits. The blue dot is your searched address.
To look for the permit by street address.
