Maple Trees – Walking Tour

June 17 @ 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Join us for our first Maple Tree Walking Tour on June 17th!🍁🌳

Take a stroll in Long Branch, beginning in Birch Park at 10AM to learn all about maple trees! By the end of the walk you will know some amazing facts about a variety of maple tree species, including Canada’s official tree, the Sugar Maple, and some species which could be mistaken as maples but are their own species entirely.

This event is a great opportunity to connect with nature and appreciate our native maple trees while also learning about non-native and invasive maples in the City of Toronto.

Registration is free thanks to funding provided through a Community Planting & Stewardship Grant from the City of Toronto.
